Don't you often find it difficult when you've been in a training program to keep the promises that you made to yourself about what you were going to do when you left? We often don't have a way to get support for our new behaviors. The Virtual Learning Group is designed for this purpose: To allow people to create communities of learning in which they can support each other in creating breakthroughs in their jobs, their companies, and their lives. For example, a work team can use the VLG to discuss diversity issues, each of them agreeing to check in for 15 minutes each day for a week; a leadership team could use the VLG to share best practices when things are working, and to ask for help when they're not; or a group of employees who simply want to have an online book group about the most recent management book can use the VLG as the medium.
