How can you tell how your organization is doing? The most simplistic way, of course, is to look at your bottom line. But smart executives know that a highly functioning organization is measured by other aspects as well. A smart person occasionally goes to the doctor for a diagnostic checkup to be sure their body is working right. A smart leader engages in an organizational assessment to check out the health of their organization.
