After a very busy year and a half hiatus, The Curve is back! We are delighted to resume this quarterly e-newsletter to provide information and helpful practices to our clients and friends. The past 18 months have been enormously exciting for Cook Ross, and this edition of The Curve will fill you in on what we've been up to.

Creating the Future in the Food Industry

We've been working with Whole Foods Market to develop their strategic vision for the next five years. We facilitated a Future Search Conference for them, which is one of our favorite tools. At this 3-day event at Omega Institute's new Austin, TX facility, we brought together more than 150 people, including representatives from every level of Whole Foods: board members, executives, store team members, even vendors and customers. We also facilitated a series of two-day sessions to clarify the direction of their Marketing and Whole Body departments. Whole Foods is now well on its way to advancing the revolutionary approach and growth that has made it the darling of shoppers and investors.

On the Air or in the Studio, Diversity Matters

National Public Radio recently hired us to develop a diversity training program for their entire team of on- and off- air employees. We developed a training program that focused on their unique needs, and then trained eight internal facilitators to work with us rolling it out to all 700 of their employees. This program is just part of a long term culture change effort intended to make NPR a diversity leader in their industry.
